Our client in Tamarac, FL is looking for a Molding Technician. The Molding Technician is responsible for mold set-ups, statistical process control, robotics, material handling, chillers, automation and process trouble shooting of various types of injection molds, machines and resins to ensure efficient production of quality products.

Job Responsibilities

• Perform required inspection and testing of incoming product according to quality control plan.
• Material handling, blending and minor maintenance on auxiliary equipment.
• Develop procedures and documentation for all aspects of the process and provide training as needed.
• Communicates with prior and oncoming shifts to give work assignments and expectations to achieve plan.
• Follow Company policies and procedures as defined in the SUNBELT Employee Manual.
• Follow all International Standards that apply to SUNBELT'S certification and QMS.
• Follow Company Safety rules and wears required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required.

Education / Skills / Qualifications :

• Must read, write and communicate in English as it relates to this position and safety.
• 3-5 years of Injection Molding experience, preferably in the Automotive and Medical Industry.
• Experience in reel to reel molding, insert molding and decoupled molding a definite asset.
• Able to setup, validate and optimize current mold processes.
• Able to work in a fast paced work environment.
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
• Excellent organization, prioritization and time management skills.
• Good administrative & record keeping skills.
• Intermediate computer skills to include Word & Excel.
• Self-starter with a strong drive for continuous improvement
• Ability to read advanced blueprints.
